Hyundai Santa Fe 2007 - The Next Honda?
Overall, the Santa Fe looks to have pretty good dog car potential. The wheel wells don't impinge too much on the cargo area, giving you a full 45" between them, definitely enough room for a set of decent size SUV crates.
The more expensive 7 seater wasn't yet available for our perusal, but we hear it includes premium features, such as additional rear air vents, providing a nice variety of cooling/ventilation options.
We can't give you any testimonials from happy dog owners since this thing is just too new. If anybody out there is happily or unhappily transporting dogs in the 2007 Santa Fe , let us know how you like it.

Note the rear seats don't fold down completely flat. The wheel well on the left side infringes on the cargo space a bit more than the one on the right.
