Serious dog folks are always on the look out for a car that will fit all of the dogs, crates and other paraphernalia required for the typical outing while keeping travel economical. The new Ford Transit Connect with its spacious cargo area and good mileage shows promise as a dog car.

Scion is the new kid on the block when it comes to North American automobile manufacturers, and they've done very well with the younger audience. We were hoping to review the xA this time around, but discovered that it had been dropped from the line-up and the xD had been added in its place. Here's a brief rundown of the models they've introduced and modified since 2004 and a look at the xD to see whether it'd make a good dogmobile.
